Mrs. Katelyn Ebrom
Hello! I'm one of the agricultural science teachers at Karnes City High School. I teach courses within the plant science pathway of the Agricultural Food and Natural Resources career cluster; including horticulture, floral design, greenhouse management, and advanced floral design. I also teach mathematical application of agricultural and a principles of agricultural food and natural resource course.
I grew up in east Texas and after high school, I went on to attend Texas A&M University to major in Agricultural Leadership & Development. I met my husband while at A&M. Being a Karnes City Badger himself, we moved back to the area. After graduation from A&M, I went to work for a cattlemen's organization as a Membership & Marketing Coordinator. While in that position, I learned a great deal but I felt called to teaching having grown up in a household of teachers. Although, I took a little detour before obtaining my teaching certificate I'm so proud to be a part of the Badger staff here at KCHS. This will be my 6th year at KCHS.
They say, "when a career and passion come together, you never work a day in your life". That's truly how I feel as an ag science teacher. I get to advocate for agriculture on a daily basis and teach my students about an industry I'm passionate about.
Should you ever need to reach out, my email is kebrom@kcisd.net or you call dial 830-780-2321 Ext. 315. My conference time is from 2:55 to 3:40. If your student needs tutorials, I will offer them on Monday and Wednesday until 4:30pm. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
