Hello, I'm Kevin Hans, currently serving as the Principal at Karnes City Primary. With a passion for education that has spanned over 14 years, I am thrilled to be embarking on my 4th year here in Karnes City ISD.
My journey in education has been diverse and enriching. Prior to taking on the role of Principal, I spent eight fulfilling years in the classroom, teaching 1st grade, 5th grade, and RTI Intervention. These years allowed me to connect with students at various stages of their educational journey, witnessing firsthand the growth and development that comes with dedicated learning.
In addition to my time in the classroom, I served as an Instructional Coach for three years, where I honed my skills in curriculum development and pedagogical strategies. This role provided me with the opportunity to support and guide fellow educators in their professional growth, a responsibility I held with great pride.
Before becoming a Principal, I also had the privilege of serving as an Assistant Principal in Karnes City ISD for one year, further broadening my understanding of school administration and leadership.
My professional experience extends beyond Karnes City, having worked for nine years in Judson ISD and an additional two years in San Antonio ISD. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse set of skills and insights that I am eager to bring to my current role.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is watching students learn and grow, especially as they develop their reading skills. It is a joy to witness the excitement and pride that comes with mastering new concepts and achieving academic milestones.
As Principal, I am committed to leveraging my extensive background in the classroom, instructional coaching, and administration to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for all students at Karnes City Primary. I am excited about the opportunities ahead and look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, students, and families to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
