Sides Elementary School, Karnes City Junior High School, and Karnes City High School.

Welcome to the Badger family, both new and returning students! If you're new to Karnes City ISD or weren't enrolled at the end of the last school year, we're thrilled to have you with us. The enrollment process is as simple as 1-2-3, so let's get started on an exciting new year together!

Stay Up-to-Date on Immunizations
To attend school, all students must have up-to-date immunizations. Let's make sure everything is in order!

Karnes City ISD will be providing all school supplies for students this 2023-2024 school year.
We understand that preparing for a new school year can be a stressful time, especially when it comes to gathering all the necessary school supplies. That's why we're thrilled to announce that Karnes City ISD will be providing all school supplies for the upcoming school year! Our students' success is our priority, and we want to ensure that every child has the tools they need to thrive in the classroom. Here's to a fantastic year of learning, growth, and achievement!

Arrival & Dismissal Schedules:
Familiarize yourself with the arrival and dismissal schedules for each campus. Remember, patience is key during pickup and dropoff times, especially at the beginning of the school year as we all settle into our routines!
🕢 KCP Schedule:
Drop off begins at 7:30 AM.
Instruction starts at 7:45 AM.
Dismissal at 3:25 PM.🕢 RES Schedule:
Drop off starts at 7:30 AM.
Classes begin at 7:45 AM.
Instruction concludes at 3:25 PM with dismissal at 3:30 PM.🕢 KCHS & KCJH Schedule:
Doors open at 7:40 AM.
Tardy bell at 8:00 AM.
School ends at 3:40 PM.
Sports Physicals:
For KCJH & KCHS students in athletics, cheer, and marching band, remember to submit your physicals and online paperwork by DATE. You won't be allowed to participate without these completed. Learn more:

We encourage all parents to get involved in our Parent-Teacher organizations, booster clubs, and volunteer opportunities. Volunteers on campus must complete a background check - find out more here:
