I am Mrs. Hayes.  This is my nineteenth year in the classroom, all in teaching the early grades.  I love teaching kindergarten and watching the faces light up when they learn a new skill, or when they think something is really interesting.  I feel I can connect with the students when it comes to learning because they need things explained in a very concrete way, and I am a very concrete learner as well.  I especially like hearing when the kids are applying the skills at home or teaching them to their younger siblings.  

I am married and have three boys that are our pride and joys.
