Karnes City ISD is committed to supporting student success through federal grant funding that helps provide high-quality instruction, evidence-based interventions, professional development, educational resources, and family engagement opportunities. For the 2026–2027 school year, KCISD plans to apply for ESSA federal funds and has outlined proposed expenditures based on the Texas Education Agency's planning allocations. Community members are invited to review the proposed use of funds and provide questions or comments. Feedback may be submitted to Molly Kollodziej, Federal and Special Programs Coordinator, at mkollodziej@kcisd.net no later than Friday, July 24, 2026.
