Board of Trustees

The Karnes City ISD Board of Trustees serves as the governing body for the district, representing the community in all matters related to public education. The Board operates within the framework of state and federal law and follows the regulations established by the Texas Education Agency and the State Board of Education.

Although composed of seven elected members, the Board acts only as a collective body; no individual trustee or group of trustees may act on behalf of the Board without formal authorization. Official business requires a quorum, defined as a majority of the members present.

Trustees serve four-year terms without compensation and are elected by the voters of the district to reflect the values, priorities, and vision of the Karnes City community.
