Badger Comeback
The 2026 Badger Comeback will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Texas Vaquero Hall (formerly Benito Juarez Hall), located at 410 W. Buchel St., Karnes City, TX.
Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
All Karnes City ISD Badger alumni, students, current and former staff members, families, and fans are invited to attend.
Honor Classes
The following classes will be recognized during the 2026 Badger Comeback:
- Class of 2021 – 5 Years
- Class of 2016 – 10 Years
- Class of 2011 – 15 Years
- Class of 2006 – 20 Years
- Class of 2001 – 25 Years
- Class of 1996 – 30 Years
- Class of 1991 – 35 Years
- Class of 1986 – 40 Years
- Class of 1981 – 45 Years
- Class of 1976 – 50 Years
- All classes celebrating more than 50 years
Honor classes may request early entry beginning at 12:00 PM.
Badger Band Alumni
Badger Band alumni and current members are invited to perform during the Comeback.

Help Spread the Word
Communication about the Badger Comeback will be shared through phone calls, text messages, email, Facebook, local newspapers, flyers, and word of mouth.
We encourage alumni to help spread the word to classmates, family members, and fellow Badger fans.
We are also seeking at least one volunteer coordinator from each graduating class to assist with contacting classmates.

Registration
- Registration Fee: $5 per person
- Admission is free for current students.
Dinner
A roast beef meal with tea and water will be served at 5:30 PM.
Meal Cost: $20 per person
Beer, soft drinks, and set-ups will be available for purchase at the hall. Guests are also welcome to bring their own beverages.

Registration is important so organizers can reserve an appropriate number of tables for each class.
Meal tickets may be picked up at the registration table upon arrival.
Silent Auction, Live Auction & Raffle
Proceeds help cover event expenses and support KCISD scholarships.
Honor classes are encouraged to donate a gift basket valued at $50 or more for the auctions.
Suggested donations include:
- Gift baskets
- Gift cards
- Homemade baked goods
- Canned goods
- Handmade crafts
- Badger memorabilia
Attendees are also encouraged to purchase raffle tickets. The raffle drawing will be held in December 2026.
