Mrs. Elizabeth Jarvis

In 1997, I made a decision to switch careers from social worker to educator.  I had worked as a MHMR social worker associate for seven years and decided it was time to begin my original goal:  teaching.

I taught in the general education classroom at Marble Falls High School for a year and when a special education position became available, I worked as a Life Skills teacher for six more years for the district.

In 2004, I began teaching for Windham ISD, the education department of TDJC.  I taught classes at the TDJC facility in Fort Stockton for two years.  Two years later, I taught a resource class at Johnson City High School, and then began teaching for Calhoun County ISD at Travis Junior High as a Life Skills teacher.  After a life changing event when my husband passed away, I moved to Karnes City and began working as a Life Skills teacher, a position I held until this school year (2017-2018) where I am assigned as a general education teacher in the social studies department.
