Welcome!  My name is Heather Gisler, and I teach 7th grade Texas History along with Gifted and Talented this year.  This is my 23rd year at Karnes City Junior High.  

I grew up in Yorktown, Texas.  I graduated from the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies.  I currently live in Runge, Texas with my husband and two children.

I have a younger brother who lives in Kansas, and my mother lives in Nordheim who is a retired teacher.  My family and I have a dog named Bandit and another named "J".  We have many cats and numerous cattle.  I enjoy fishing and quilting.
