Meet Our Assistant Principal
Penny
Armstrong, Assistant Principal
Penny Armstrong is your new RES Elementary Assistant
Principal and District Curriculum Coordinator. She is
originally from Victoria, Texas where she graduated from
Victoria High School. After high school, Mrs. Armstrong
attended Texas State University and graduated with a
Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies in 2004.
Currently, Mrs. Armstrong is attending University of
Houston-Victoria in pursuit of a Master’s degree in
Education and Administration.
Mrs. Armstrong comes to RES after teaching 7th
Grade language arts and journalism at Karnes City Junior
High. Mrs. Armstrong is also the director of the Karnes
City Highsteppers and has been for the past three years.
Mrs. Armstrong has been married for two years to Coach
Armstrong, who is a JV and varsity football coach, head
basketball coach, Jr. High track coach, and Jr. High
history teacher for Karnes City ISD. The love of their
life is their six year old miniature dachshund, Copper.
